Michael has over 20 years experience in project and program management within large corporations – specialising in management of infrastructure, outsourcing, strategy and solution shaping, financial modelling, process engineering, governance and controls, vendor relationships and organisational change.
As a Principal of MSI, Michael is a senior project manager and consultant who specialises in change management.
Michael’s strategic thinking of business and technology makes him an effective change agent, as he considers how people, processes and technology can work together to achieve the final business objective. This was most recently demonstrated in his role as Technology Project Manager for an international telecommunications company. This role involved managing local and international resources through the build and implementation phase of the project, including the introduction of new processes and practices – on time and within budget.
In addition, Michael’s technical background provides him insights into managing application developers, architects and technical business analysts.
Damon has over 10 years experience consulting, designing, implementing and managing technology solutions across a range of industries including; banking and finance, government, healthcare, mining and telecommunications.
As a Principal of MSI, Damon is the solutions architect, and technical consultant, providing input and advice on all design aspects of any technology solution.
Damon combines technical competency and programming skills with business acumen, to provide focused solutions. His ability to communicate his expertise makes him an effective facilitator, providing stakeholder understanding of complex technical issues. This has most recently been demonstrated in his role as Solutions Architect in developing and implementing an external application delivery platform for one of Australian’s largest banks. Prior to this he was engaged as Lead Architect on numerous enterprise level projects for a premier provider of international voice and satellite services in Asia.

As a Director of MSI, Michael fulfils the role of Senior Consultant and provides guidance to project teams on major IT infrastructure projects.
Michael is currently engaged with one of Australia’s leading banks, where he is providing consultancy services in support of the End User Computing platform including the Desktop and distributed environment, Handheld Mobility and Citrix and remote access infrastructure.
Michael has also consulted in numerous management roles where he has been responsible for advising on business process, information technology and infrastructure management strategies across a range of industry sectors including banking and finance, industrials, defence and utilities.
Michael has extensive experience in team facilitation, project review, architecture establishment, project management, service management and application integration.
Michael is also a member of the board of the Kidsplus Foundation, a therapy program for babies, children and teenagers with physical and motor sensory difficulties.
Sam is the co-founder of MSI and has over 25 years experience consulting to a wide range of customers in complex technology environments.
Sam continues to provide consulting, strategy & architecture services to our customers in addition to performing an Operational Director role for MSI. Sam’s skills in business and technology strategy development, and his experience in organisations ranging from Large Enterprise to smaller Government departments allow him to provide deep technical and business insight and sound strategic advice to our customers.
Sam takes an active role in providing MSI staff with support and guidance through projects which helps provide consistent approach to our projects and customers, and personal growth for our employees.
With a strong background in Program/Project Delivery, Technology Architecture and Technical/Business Management, Sam has a deep and broad knowledge base and a focus on achieving key business outcomes using technology as an enabler.

Byron is a highly experienced Technology and Program Architect with experience across a wide range industry sectors. Byron has a strong focus on understanding key business drivers and delivering to defined business objectives in his solutions. Byron has designed and implemented large scale and complex solutions across a broad range of technologies and across multiple platforms. He has deep expertise and experience providing Architectural guidance, advice and delivery for Enterprise sized Transformation, Integration and leading edge design projects.
Byron has a strong technical infrastructure background having successfully led multiple large scale data centre designs and relocations, virtualisation initiatives and systems integration and migration projects and solutions across a wide range of customers and industries.
Byron utilises his deep architectural experience and expertise to great effect across our customer base in the creation and documentation of best practice, repeatable and robust architectural patterns and artifacts enabling a streamlined approach to future project and operational deliverables.
